Co-Packing
Crescent’s contract packaging and assembly operations offer an extensive array of capabilities and experiences with all trade channels, including Retail, Club, Mass-Merchandisers, Drug and C-Stores. Crescent’s experience is further extended with Consumer Packaged Goods companies within both Health and Beauty and Food and Beverage industries.
Crescent’s experience in co-packing is both in Stand-Alone and Embedded Operations, operating both secondary co-packing/assembly and primary filling/packing operations.
Crescent has all the necessary qualifications for quality assurance, certifications, technology, to ensure our clients products are handled with a highest degree of quality and safety.
- Stand-Alone Operations are existing, multi-client operations and typically managed on a transactional basis with a highly variable and on-demand cost basis.
- Embedded Operations are customized and dedicated operations at or near a clients’ manufacturing plant or distribution center, designed specific to clients’ needs and requirements. These operations are managed on an integrated basis, usually as part of a strategic partnership, reducing excess handling and transportation, reducing cycle time, while increasing manufacturing’s flexibility within their supply chain.
- Secondary/Co-Packing and assembly manages any secondary assembly process using open stock or pre-packed product, ranging from simple display/mixed pallets to complex highly automated assembly and production lines.
- Primary Co-Packing is utilizing in bulk container clients' primary product, in either an “open” or “closed” basis, reducing packaging waste while increasing line efficiency and product sustainability.
